  • Clearing the Mind/Mind Dump - Morning Pages, from the book The Artist’s Way, by Julia Cameron is a good example of this. It consists of 30 minutes of stream of consciousness writing first thing in the morning. Our Favorite Journals & Apps

For traditional paper journals, we love Silk & Sonder. It is a monthly subscription, so you receive a new themed journal every month. It is a journal, a planner and all around creative outlet. And did we mention BEAUTIFUL?

Zinnia is the closest we have found to a paper journal, which allows you to customize your journal exactly how you want, with templates, stickers and even washi tape. It is also compatible with the Apple Pencil for even more creative options.

Jour is a great pick for guided journaling with prompts. It has a mood check-in and new questions everyday.

We also like Prompted Journal for its simplicity and affordable price. There is no login required so all of your journal entries are stored on your device, creating a safe space for personal entries.

If you have a smart phone, then you already have the Notes app. You can journal, make lists, add photos and links, and the best part…it’s free!

There are two programs we like for productivity. The first is OneNote, which comes with the Microsoft Office Suite. The second is Evernote, which has both free and paid versions. You can create projects for both work and home, and then create folders within each project to keep you on track. Talk about being organized!
